About

This blog is currently for WRI 333: Digital Rhetoric and Writing!

I’ve always had a vested interest in video games and discussing my opinions about them. I was raised in the era where YouTube was born, where browser-based games still had massive playerbases, and where the GameCube was supposedly a disappointment (but actually hosted some of the best of Nintendo’s games).

My posts are primarily going to concern what I think about a game. I aim to add something to the conversation even in some minor way.

But what about me?

I’m a junior in a four-year university majoring in Professional Writing and minoring in Public Relations. My hobbies include poetry, taking pictures of my cat, cooking, and avoiding responsibilities by looking at the internet.

All kinds of genres interest me, and I dabble in just about everything, but my main focuses are on simulation games, RPGs, retro-style games, and games that involve a lot of creation elements. Some of my favorite games/series include Animal Crossing, Pokémon, The Sims, Mega Man, LISA: The Painful, Super Smash Bros., Stardew Valley, World of Warcraft, Neopets, and Undertale.

Currently, games I’m currently playing or attempting to play between a million school assignments include:

The Witcher 3
Deltarune
Super Mario RPG (on SNES Classic)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Neopets

I hope you find my long-winded rants and observations entertaining!
